Christmas Fair - Sunday 25th November 2018 

Inside [CRAFT] are holding a very special Christmas Fair on Sunday 25th November 2018 in the Virginia Park Lodge (www.virginiaparklodge.com).

The owner of the exclusive and beautifully renovated Virginia Park Lodge, the renowned chef Richard Corrigan and his team are great supporters of local crafts people and artists and Inside [CRAFT] are delighted to have the opportunity to hold this inaugural Christmas Craft Fair in this wonderful location that is not normally open to the public.

They have planned a very special day which will provide the public with the opportunity to buy quality products from crafts people and artists which are not generally available on the high street. There will be 'Meet the Maker' demos, music, seasonal decorations, music and refreshments to create a wonderful Christmas atmosphere.

If you would like to exhibit and be part of this unique event the cost to Inside [CRAFT] members is €50. (Cost to non members will range from €135 to €150), and they must submit their expression of interest for consideration by the Inside [CRAFT] Committee.

Inside [CRAFT] is a new craft network that was established in 2017 with the help of the Local Enterprise Offices in Cavan, Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon (www.http://insidecraft.ie). A craft trail for the network was also established at this time.

The purpose of Inside [CRAFT] is to be a strong, vibrant and sustainable network that will provide opportunities, support and training and will promote and represent our creative sector: the craftspeople, artists and designers, of the region. 

The primary aims and objectives are to:

• Support members at the idea / prototype stage to get trading.
• Support members who are already trading to increase their sales.

They will do this by:

• Acting as a group representative body on matters concerning the creative sector.
• Collective funding and training in collaboration with other bodies such as Local Enterprise Offices, Arts Council, Design & Crafts Council etc.
• Creating group trade, retail and marketing opportunities.
• Training, networking and sharing of information.

Annual Subscription

• Annual Subscription is €50

This entitles you to attend all member meetings, events, networking and training opportunities. Activities in the past year included: Product Development Session facilitated by Eddie Shanahan; Photography day - professional photographer taking head shots and products photos for members at a much reduced rate; Applying for and been approved by DCCoI as a GANS and also for funding support from them for a very special Christmas event for which planning has commenced. The launch of their first Corporate Brochure aimed at the business gift market at the Longford Business Expo in September 2018. They have also just received approval for funding support from the Longford, Roscommon, Leitrim and Cavan LEO’s for a reprint of our Inside [CRAFT] Craft Trail Brochure.
