Linking Limerick North Cork Engineers Firms
The Limerick North Cork Engineers Network was launched at the Woodlands House Hotel in Adare last week. The initiative was set up by Local Enterprise Office Limerick, Limerick City and County Council and Local Enterprise Office Cork North and West.
The network aims to work with engineering firms in the region to enhance the competitiveness of member companies and encourage innovation and continuous improvement. The network will provide a platform to access knowledge, skills and information to create an ecosystem to encourage innovation and cooperation between member companies.
Speakers on the evening included Eamon Ryan, Head of Enterprise, Local Enterprise Office Limerick, Theresa Mulvihill, Manager of the Engineering Network, Paschal Meehan, Dean, Work Based Learning VP International LIT and Chairperson of Limerick for Engineering, Bernie Moloney, Senior Enterprise Development Officer, Dr. Siobhan Bradley, Regional Skills Forum South – West Region and Kevin Curran, Head of Enterprise, Local Enterprise Office Cork North and West.
Member companies represented a selection of firms from across the engineering sector in the region.
The next event will take place at the Office of member company Design Pro Automation, in Rathkeale Enterprise Centre on November 7th.
