Women in Business programme comes to both North & West Cork this Autumn/Winter 2019

As part of our ongoing commitment to women in business, this business development programme is specifically for women in business, across all sectors. It is aimed at the woman owner/partner of a small business, employing 1 to 10 employees. Applicants will be actively involved in the management of their business and will be trading for a minimum of 12 months. Those participating on this programme MUST already have completed the standard Start Your Own Business Programme.
The Women in Business Programme is ideal for those who wish to broaden and develop their knowledge in the areas of: strategy, finance, business planning, raising money, marketing, sales, public relations, pitching and the business plan.If you are looking for assistance to move your business to the next stage of growth, this initiative could benefit your business.
Over the course of 8 training sessions, you will work with the trainers to assist you in growing, developing or diversifying your business. There will be a maximum group size of 15 women in business participating in the training programme and this will provide great networking opportunities within the group.
This programme is ideal if you are currently facing challenges within your business or if you are at a stage of changing some of your product or service offerings, where you need direction, guidance and support.
The subsidised cost of this programme is €150 per participant. (If there are 2 women in business partners from one business, the same fee applies per person). This includes all handouts provided during the training as well as any tea/coffee, light food provided. A number of one to one mentoring hours are also included in the programme.
Places are limited to 15 clients per office (North and West) and are open to those within the West and North Cork catchment areas only.
The Local Enterprise Office reserves the right to refuse an application, if they deem an applicant/woman in business owner to be unsuitable/not ready to partake in the programme.
PLEASE NOTE: This programme is suitable for the owner/manager/director of a small business and NOT the manager or employee of a small business.
