The Occupation of Vacant Commercial Premises Scheme has been established to encourage new businesses to occupy commercial premises, that have been vacant for a period exceeding 6 months. The Scheme is applicable to subject premises which have a rates valuation of no more than €60,000. It will operate by lowering the entry costs through a grant related to the level of rates payable on the property.
