Local Enterprise Showcase 2024 Applications Now Open! Showcase – Ireland’s Creative Expo – is now the foremost place for retailers to discover unique, design-led fashion and knitwear, jewellery, craft, gift and interiors, and attracts buyers and press from Ireland and around the world. Showcase Ireland 2024 will take place from Sunday 21st to Tuesday 23rd January 2024 in the RDS, Dublin. The Local Enterprise Showcase will be located on the ground floor in the ‘Local Enterprise Hall’ (RDS Hall 3). Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Monaghan is continuing our support and commitment of the Home & Gift, Fashion and Jewellery sectors by offering a limited number of exhibition spaces to clients at a subsidised rate of €750 for 2m x 2m individual stands. Open for Expression of Interests If you wish to be considered for this subsidised individual stand, please complete the application form and send to sinead.mckenna@leo.monaghancoco.ie by 4:00pm on Monday, 26th June 2023. (Please include product photos or service marketing materials with your application). As in previous years, please note that group stands are not permitted at the 2024 event (i.e. individual stands only) and therefore one application form per client is required. Eligibility Criteria Local Enterprise Showcase is broken down into three main strands:
- Home & Gift
- Fashion
- Jewellery
- Applicants must be trading at least 12 months and have the following in place for their established creative businesses: social media, website, branding. Applicants should also have the potential to export.
- Those who have not exhibited at Local Enterprise Showcase in the past may be given priority for a 2024 stand, subject to meeting the qualifying criteria.
- Mentoring support will be available from your local LEO.
Additional Information
- Applicants who have attended Local Enterprise Showcase more than 3 times in the Local Enterprise area may not be eligible for a 2024 stand.
- Successful applicants must be available to attend the online briefing sessions which are designed to assist preparation for Showcase 2024.
- The subsidised fee payable by the successful applicants (€750) will be collected by LEO Monaghan. This will be payable online by the successful applicants by 31st August 2023. It is not possible to pay the fee in instalments, by cheque or credit transfer. Payments must be made online and in full by 31st August 2023. In the event of a payment not being received from a successful applicant, the stand may be re-allocated to another.
The following is the offering for the successful applicants:
- Stand is 2m x 2m
- Space as per allocation
- Name Plate
- Spotlights x 2
- Briefing and training sessions – delivered virtually in mid to late October 2023. Attendance at these sessions is compulsory.
- Access to PR opportunities co-ordinated by the National LEO Communications Office.
- The cost per stand to the client is €750 (no VAT payable by the client).
