Trailblazing women entrepreneurs championed by Local Enterprise Office for Dublin City

The Local Enterprise Office for Dublin City have announced the winners of the 2019 Women in Business Network Awards.

Now in their fifteenth year, the Women in Business Network Awards recognises two outstanding members of the Local Enterprise Office’s Women’s Network, whose businesses have excelled over the past year.

Maeve O'Malley, founder of Meltdown Café won the 2019 'Entrepreneur of the Year' Award for her Temple Bar-based café that specialises in gourmet toasted cheese sandwiches. Maeve was awarded for hitting some highly impressive targets and milestones during her second year, including the launch of a second location and of a hot sauce that is for sale in SuperValue stores. Kate O’Moore, founder of MAKER, is a branding & graphic design studio that brings brands to life through creative graphic design in digital and print, was awarded the 2019 'Rising Star' Award. Kate was awarded for an impressive business performance and continuous development of services and investment in her business. (www.makerdesign.ie)
