An enterprise information & networking morning suitable for those thinking of self-employment, new business start-up's and existing business.
Speakers with experience in a broad range of business disciplines - business strategy, finance, marketing:
- Donal McKenna an experienced manager in the hospital & health care industry in both the private and public sector. Donal is skilled in Negotiation, Board Level operations , Budgeting, Business Planning, Business and Innovation Management and Corporate Governance. Strong research professional graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Donal works with start-up companies on business development and with established companies on scaling and growth. He also specialises in the business development of Social Enterprises and in Regulatory Compliance at Board level in the charity sector.
- Sarah Clohessy is a Marketing & Communications expert with over 20-years experience managing all aspects of the marketing mix with strengths in advertising, public relations, social media and providing insights from research. She previously worked in advertising as Marketing & Research Manager for two of Ireland’s top media companies. She holds a B. Commerce from UCC and Diploma in Public Relations from the PRII.
- Peter Cronin has developed, written and delivered many modules and full award courses for QQI certification in business subjects and skill development over the past 30 years. He has delivered every aspect of business training to business owners, customers of partnership and LEOs. He has directly supported well over 2,000 start ups into business through his ongoing role work in enterprise support. He has developed and delivered hundreds of hours of SYOB training, tailored to suit very specific audiences. He is now Managing Director of Ardú.ie and acts as consultant to a number of other long established businesses.He published the definitive book for start ups ‘All the Mistakes’ in January 2020 and the book is already required reading for several degree level business courses and the preferred text for LEO Start Your Own Business courses in 6 counties.
