Over 300 Entrepreneurs gather to create connections for South East Business Success

Business Picnic

An innovative business networking event called the “The Business Picnic” took place on Monday 20th June 2016 in Arboretum, which gathered over three hundred entrepreneurs and like-minded individuals.

This year the event was brought to life by Carlow County Council’s Local Enterprise Office in partnership with UNUM, Arboretum and Connect Ireland who presented a panel with local, national and international contributors, not to mention the brilliant hosting skills from Irelands very own Anton Savage followed by humour therapy in the form of Gearóid Farrelly.

Speaking of the event, The Head of Local Enterprise Office Carlow, Kieran Comerford said: “The fastest and surest way to build solid business contacts today is through networking, however, networking is not only about making new connections, it is also about building lasting and mutually beneficial business relationships.”

As the two panels of contributors took to the stage, they naturally created a motivational atmosphere around them while chatted to Anton and shared their stories of enterprise success and failures. The event not just reached the people assembled but also via social media platform twitter it became a number two top trend in Ireland for a period.
