On Sunday December 6th 2015, the historic surroundings of Duckett’s Grove House and Estate will be transformed into Carlow’s own Winter Wonderland with its annual Christmas Fair. A magical grotto of traditional Christmas activities featuring a large artisan craft and food market, traditional craft, demonstrations including falconry, horse shoeing, weaving, basket making, face painting and of course Santa will be there to greet all the children, and if that’s not exciting enough the day will end with a fireworks display.
Local Enterprise Office Carlow has been working close with Carlow Tourism to make this year’s Duckett’s Grove Christmas a magical event for everyone to enjoy. Kieran Comerford, Head of Enterprise at Local Enterprise Office Carlow said “We’re excited to be working with Carlow Tourism to bring the magic of Christmas to Carlow this year; it’s a great annual event that brings the community together and exhibiting local craft and food businesses from around County Carlow. We’re also looking forward to seeing Transition Year students from local secondary schools as they’ll showcase their mini companies during the event.”

Stand space will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and particularly in respect of certain food categories. Please note that a space cannot be secured without payment of fee and relevant insurance.
As the Duckett’s Grove Christmas Fair is one of Carlow’s biggest events of the year, stand space goes quickly, so it is important to complete your booking and make payment as soon as possible to secure attendance.
