Business books blazing their way to County Carlow Libraries

Blaise Brosnan Book

Hopeful entrepreneurs are now being encouraged to visit their local library to check out a copy of one of the series of publications by Management Guru – Blaise Brosnan.

Wexford businessman Blaise Brosnan is well known to the Carlow Business Community having supported hundreds of companies as part of the Management Development Programmes rolled out by the Local Enterprise Office.

His latest book is 'I Dare You', subtitled 'Win the Debate in Your Own Head', he says, is not another self-help book with a recipe for success, but rather it challenges the reader to visualise the outcome you desire, create it in your mind, manage change, start to take the necessary steps towards your goals and stand for something.

'I Dare You' comprises 47 core messages from Blaise Brosnan's lifetime of experience as a mentor, educationalist and trainer and more than 300 carefully chosen, wise and profound quotations from his own personal collection.

A native of Killarney, he joined the management team of Wexford Farmers Co-op in the 1970s building it into a multi-million euro business and one of Ireland's leading enterprises. He is an economics graduate from UCD and a management graduate from Trinity College.

Through his business management consultancy (Management Resources Institute) and his Owner Manager Development Programme (OMDP), Blaise has facilitated more than 5,000 business people to stand back from the 'fuss' of their day-to-day activity and decide how best to drive their businesses forward and achieve their objectives.
