Carlow Local Enterprise Office hosts the Powerhouse – Communication with Confidence Event to mark National Women’s Enterprise Day. The event will include our Leading Light Elizabeth Morrissey Managing Director of Morrissey's Pharmacy and Owner of ELM Beauty with comedian Gearóid Farrelly and Media personality Eimear Ní Bhraonáin. This lunch time event is a great opportunity to build your network while also participating in an event which is aimed to engage, inspire and empower your positivity in communication for your business.
Gearóid is the host of the popular podcast “Fascinated” where he chats to people about their career and work. Recently Gearóid was nominated by the public for a GALA Award (Irish LGBT+ Awards) in the Arts and Entertainment category alongside Graham Norton and Mark Feehily from Westlife.
Eimear Ní Bhraonáin is a communications expert with almost 20 years of experience in the media industry. Eimear presents the mid-morning talk show on local radio, KCLR Live, where she has the highest listenership across the station. While she covers all the serious topics of the day, Eimear has a quirky sense of humour and enjoys getting out and about meeting her listeners.
The event commences at 12noon sharp for 2 hours. Limited to 40 places , Highly Subsidized €15 per head (includes lunch).
