In turn, this will highlight to the public the real beauty of South Carlow and will surely develop upon a treasured tourist and local attraction.”, Patrick commented that “The overall project is brilliant for the South Carlow Area. I walked the trail last week with a group of adults from around the area, they were all fascinated by the stunning locations and views. It is amazing what you can find in your own local area; I have explored all areas of the woods and yet I always find something new. The project will be a massive boost to the whole area.”

Minister Phelan speaking about the projects said “I am delighted to be launching these projects today and I am confident that these type of projects  will support the sustainable development of rural communities in County Carlow”, the Minister concluded by saying “These projects are designed to make a real difference in the lives of many rural communities”.
