February 14th 2018 is the closing date for this years Carlow County Council “Streetscape Paint Scheme” and applications are invited from community groups and commercial operators.
Carlow County actively supports the urban renewal of Towns & Villages in County Carlow and continued investment in its built fabric. The Painting Grant Scheme is one way in which it does this and the grant scheme aims to support and encourage communities to invest in buildings to enhance the character and appearance of areas and to reinforce local pride in the area for residents, businesses and visitors.
Painting Grant Schemes aims to provide a financial incentive to building owners and occupiers to invest in the visual appearance and maintenance of their historic buildings, and also to help improve the character, appearance and overall attractiveness of these historic and valued areas of Towns & Villages across the County.
