Carlow County Council’s – Local Enterprise Office partnered up with KCLR to create “The Business Box” a series of PR & Marketing support programmes designed for the County Carlow SME Community to support the promotion and marketing of their business. All the participating businesses were in with a chance to win The Business Box Bonus, a €4,000 advertising package from KCLR and following a pitch process , Furniture & Design Bagenalstown were deemed by the judges to be the winners which was announced on the Bottom Line on KCLR this morning (19th December 2020)
The winner was selected from over 130 companies who had participated in the Business Box series of marketing activities. Speaking about the Competition, Darren Keating, Business Advisor with Carlow County Council’s Local Enterprise Office said “We are very excited for Theresa and her team at Furniture & Design. The €4000 advertising package with KCLR is a fantastic prize that will really let them get their message out to the community in 2021”
Furniture and Design operate from 20,000 square foot furniture superstore in Bagenalstown, County Carlow and supply a full selection of furniture for every room in the house, focusing on quality and price they also offer full-service for all interior design requirements.
Speaking on KCLR the Bottom Line Show today (19th December 2020) Theresa Brennan from Furniture and Design said “We are thrilled to have been chosen for this amazing prize. 2020 has been a year like no other and 202”. She continued to say, “With the help of the Local Enterprise Office and our business mentor Eileen Mc Cabe we learned how to use our website properly and relaunched https://furnitureanddesign.ie”. Theresa concluded by saying “she would like to thank all her loyal customers who have supported her business during the year”.
Kieran Comerford, Head of Enterprise with the Local Enterprise Office in Carlow County Council said; “Congratulations to all the team at Furniture and Design”, Comerford continued to say “we were very impressed with Theresa’s positive approach and forward looking plans for 2021 which showcased her passion for their delivery of quality products and services for their clients”. The Head of Enterprise concluded by saying “I’d like to thank John Purcell and the Team in KCLR for working with us during 2020 to help spread the message of local enterprise to their listeners”.
