The Ireland/Northern Ireland EURES Cross Border Partnership, together with the direct support of the European Commission and in co-operation with EURES Northern Ireland and Eures Ireland, is organising a European Online Job Day aimed at attracting skilled talent to join the ICT, Biomedical and Medical sectors in Northern Ireland and Ireland.

The IE/NI European Online Job Day is set to take place in the CoLab Business Support Centre situated on the Campus of the Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Port Road, Letterkenny, in Donegal, Ireland, on May 28, 2015. The event aims to put jobseekers from across the European Union in touch with IT, biomedical and medical employers in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The event, happening exclusively online on Thursday 28th of May 2015, will take place virtually on the event’s website: www.europeanjobdays.eu

Through the website and its interactive elements jobseekers will be able to apply for jobs, make contact with employers and book job interviews during the event. Eures advisers will assist employers with pre-selection of candidates and interviews scheduling if required. Interviews with the selected candidates will be conducted online on the day of the event using Netop Live Guide available through the website or any other software (e.g. Skype, video conferencing). In addition, live streaming of company’s presentations, live broadcast of pre-recorded videos and public & private chats will be available to all European jobseekers targeted for this event.

Who will be attending?

The event will be widely advertised in Northern Ireland, Ireland and the European Union. ICT, Biomedical and Medical professionals will be targeted through a European promotional campaign including; social media advertising (European Commission and EU/EEA countries), online advertising on a number of ICT, Biomedical and Medical related websites in Europe, information distributed to EURES departments and ICT, Biomedical and medical Professional Bodies in all EU/EEA countries and specialist publications.
