Local Enterprise Office announces Training & Development Programme

The Local Enterprise Office, as part of Carlow County Council, provides a wide range of supports to new and existing local businesses. Local Enterprise Office Carlow operates as an Information Centre, our confidential advisory service is open to anyone exploring self-employment as an option or for those who are currently operating a business. We can help you to identify the most appropriate supports/steps to take to advance your business idea. To assist the business community in meeting challenges of the business world, the Local Enterprise Office delivers a comprehensive range of high-quality business training programmes in County Carlow, designed specifically for small business owners and start up enterprises.

Whether you are interested in a 'Starting Your Own Business' course or want to develop your skills in order to grow your business, there is something suitable for everyone. Our training programmes are subsidised, making them very affordable.  Group sizes are small and courses are practical and geared specifically towards owners and employees of small businesses, giving you skills and knowledge in a short course, which you can apply immediately in your business.

This season the Local Enterprise Office has over 20 courses designed for Start-Up & Developing Enterprise. Speaking about the programmes, John Mulcahy – Enterprise Executive with the Local Enterprise Office said “this season we have added some new programmes to the schedule including Sales & Marketing Techniques for SME's, Creating Your Own WordPress Website and Develop Your Export Potential for SME's”

“The aim of our training programme is to help small business owners and entrepreneurs to get through those difficult stages of running a business and to learn new skills for the long term development of the business” said Kieran Comerford, Head of Enterprise at the Local Enterprise Office Carlow, Kieran added “We have a comprehensive range of training programmes and seminars to help start up enterprises achieve their business objectives, from Start your own Business to financial management courses there is something for everyone”.
