The Local Enterprise Office Carlow is delighted to announce its schedule of training and development programmes for Autumn 2015.

The Local Enterprise Office, as part of Carlow County Council, provides a wide range of supports to new and existing local businesses. Local Enterprise Office Carlow operates as an Information Centre, our confidential advisory service is open to anyone exploring self employment as an option or for those who are currently operating a business. We can help you to identify the most appropriate supports/steps to take to advance your business idea. To assist the business community in meeting challenges of the business world, the Local Enterprise Office delivers a comprehensive range of high-quality business training programmes in County Carlow, designed specifically for small business owners and start up enterprises.

Whether you are interested in a 'Starting Your Own Business' course or want to develop your skills in order to grow your business, there is something suitable for everyone.Our training programmes are subsidised, making them very affordable.  Group sizes are small and courses are practical and geared specifically towards owners and employees of small businesses, giving you skills and knowledge in a short course, which you can apply immediately in your business.

Following the success of the Perfecting Your Sales Pitch with Gavin Duffy and Making the Media Work for You with Orlaith Carmody in our Spring/Summer 2015 Programme, the SME Media Tool Kit by Orlaith Carmody and Gavin Duffy will take place in October and November 2015. This is a 2 day programme that is designed for owners, managers and key staff and will provide the tools necessary for effectively developing a media message. The programme will include sessions on How to do a Media Interview, Perfecting Your Sales Pitch and Writing for Business. This programme will help you make efficient use of the written word to promote your business campaign.
