London Opportunity to explore innovative opportunities for County Carlow SME’s

Carlow Companies in the construction , hospitality, food and drink sectors are been given the opportunity to participate in a subsidized educational trade mission as part of the 2020 Local Enterprise Week programmes.

 

Companies can apply to attend Hotel Restaurant & Catering (HRC) or  Futurebuild both being hosted in the London Excel from 2nd-3rd March 2020 as part of the 2020 series of Educational & Trade Missions being provided by Carlow County Councils – Local Enterprise Office.

 

HRC is the UK’s largest and most prestigious event for the hospitality and food service industry.  HRC will welcome 650 suppliers showcasing ground-breaking products from big brands to innovative start-ups in catering equipment, food, drink, technology, interior design and tabletop solutions and Futurebuild is the built environment event where brands of all sizes can share innovations, from products, to processes and solutions, with over 27,000 industry influencers and shapers.

 

Speaking about the international programme being rolled out in 2020 provided by the Local Enterprise Office , Kieran Comerford , Head of Enterprise said “exploring new opportunities for connections , innovation and opportunity is an essential part of the developing a business and the Local Enterprise Office are delighted to present these opportunities for County Carlow SME’s”, Comerford continued to say “during 2020 , we will focus on Construction , Engineering , Food & Drink , ICT & Business Development and also we will be rolling out two early exporter programmes during 2020”.

 

European Project Officer with the Local Enterprise Office , Jim Woods commenting on supporting companies to go international said “in our experience the companies who have participated have learned significantly not just from the experience and the opportunity presented but also from the peer learning as part of the events”. Woods continued to say “our role is to support the development of these opportunities for companies by presenting them in a easy to navigate solution which is highly subsidized and presents the value of investment in time for the owner manager of the business”.
