Los Angeles comes to Carlow with unique trading online business breakfast

International Entrepreneur digital expert Seanie Walsh comes to Carlow for Local Enterprise Week focus on Online Technology. 

LA comes to Carlow on 5th March 2019 for a unique digital opportunity business breakfast seminar as part of Local Enterprise Week to be held in the Woodford Dolmen Hotel. 

The main speaker is Seanie Walsh, a Castlebar native, who is Creative Director of Los Angeles based, Business Rockstars will take you under the hood of the Social Media landscape, not only analysing the work they do for some of the most reputable brands in Ireland but more importantly, how those tactics and strategies can help you achieve the attention and objectives your business deserves. Seanie is unlike any other 25-year-old in this space in that he has never been to college and is recognised as one of the world’s leading Click Funnels experts. From the age of 13 he has been a highly successful disruptive e-commerce and social media entrepreneur. Seanie is also a partner and Creative Director in V353. 

Eligible participants who attend the seminar will have the opportunity to avail of a €2,500 online trading voucher in order to enhance their online performance for their business during 2019. Speaking about the event and scheme, Pauline Hoctor, Business Advisor with Carlow County Council’s Local Enterprise Office said “Even though there is currently an increasing trend in online spending it is estimated that only 23% of small Irish businesses use eCommerce in any meaningful way and It is estimated that of all online purchases made in Ireland 70% are done in overseas markets”.

Hoctor continued to say “there is a critical need for SME to engage online order to gain further opportunities for business growth” ,  Hoctor continued to say “The Trading Online Voucher Scheme offers small businesses the opportunity to develop their website or digital marketing strategy by availing of vouchers of up to €2,500 or 50% of eligible expenditure and full information on the scheme will be given at the seminar”. 

Speaking about the scheme ,Kieran Comerford, Head of Enterprise with Carlow County Council’s – Local Enterprise Office said “County Carlow lags behind many counties when it comes to companies investing time and effort in their online technology via the Trading Online Voucher Scheme and we would encourage people to avail of this scheme as a straightforward way to increase their investment in the online space” , Comerford continued to say “The Trading Online Voucher Scheme is essential to helping small business in County Carlow adapt to the changes and increase further productive growth and job creation”.
