Town & Villages – Business Support

As part of the Towns & Villages programmes, Local Enterprise Office are working with local communities to help companies to develop their enterprises by working together.  Carlow County Council has put together a working group with Carlow Tourism to help roll out Business Supports across the Town & Villages that have been awarded funding.

The support will include:

1. Business Development Support by a panel of experts
2. Training & Development delivered based on the requirements of companies who participate in mentoring
3. From a tourism perspective and in order so Town & Villages can participate in effectively marketing themselves as part of Ireland Ancient East we will be developing marketing material based on Rural Pubs with Carlow Tourism. In order to align this piece of work with other projects this is being rolled out with Carlow Tourism as our promoter of the hospitality sector and your business must be a member to be considered for same.

We understand that companies play an essential part in particular in Rural Communities and we would very like your business to participate in this process. The closing date for applications is Wednesday 10^th January 2017. The mentoring will take place between 16^th-27^th January 2017 with the training being provided in February 2017.
