The platform facilitates investment into SMEs and start-ups by a wide range of private investors, known as 'the crowd'. Chris has been an active investor in start-up businesses over the years and also provides mentor advice to a number of early-stage companies. He has started a number of successful businesses of his own over the years, notably in the energy sector. With over 25 years commercial experience, Chris also has a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering and a Master’s degree in Energy Management.

Peter Cronin is Managing Director and Lead Trainer of Ardú.

Peter has  over 25 years of business & personal development training experience. Most of that with start-ups, particularly the BTWEA client. Peter’s style is facilitative and utilizes collaborative adult learning styles rather than old style chalk and talk.

He is heavily involved in Mentoring and Business Coaching for start-ups and micro enterprises. He is a regular contributor to the Up Starts programme on Dublin City FM.

He has written and delivered training in Business, finance, communication, facilitation, leadership, management & tendering among many topics and has a track record of writing successful proposals for C/E schemes and working  with Partnerships nationwide.
