In the run up to GDPR, LEO DLR are organising a free shredding service to companies.

Members of the ISIA (Irish Security Industry Association) will be available to help you meet the requirements with data that has reached the end of its life cycle. 

ISIA Shred Day

In partnership with Local Enterprise Office Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, members of the ISIA will be offering a FREE shredding service to companies in the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown area at two locations.

Date: Wednesday 23rd May

Locations / Times:

Dún Laoghaire Harbour (car waiting area, old Ferry Terminal)10.00 - 12.00
Council Housing Maintenance Depot (Corrig Road/Blackthorn Road)14.00 - 16.00

  

Local businesses are invited to attend this FREE shredding service and may avail of up to 10 bags of paper shredding and up to 10 electronic devices (hard drives/phones/tapes).  

Representatives of ISIA (PULP AND DISKSHRED) will be available on the day to provide advice and guidance on meeting your regulatory obligations at the end of the data life cycle and will provide you with confirmation of destruction on the day.  

Attending organisations can shred their confidential waste including paper and data bearing media such as hard drives, tapes and CDs. They will be provided with certificates of destruction and can have a *detailed asset list of the make, model and asset number of the media destroyed and even CCTV evidence.
