A series of two workshops to help you to determine the cost of your products or services, while also understanding your market, greater consumer insights, and exploring product mix.
Session 1: COSTING: All about you
Participants will be enabled to understand how to properly cost their products or services.
Topics will include:
- Wholesale vs Retail (mark-up, etc.)
- Calculating costs:
- Variable Costs, inc. raw materials, packaging, etc.
- Fixed costs o Labour and expertise
- Hidden costs to look for
- VAT
- Digital and traditional marketing: markets/expos
Session 2: PRICING: All about them
Participants will be enabled to judge what the right price is for their customers, and to understand the market through market research.
Topics will include:
- Determining the right price in the right place
- Knowing your customer and the market
- Competitor analysis
- The Swing Ticket Moment
- Presentation of VALUE through packaging and other methods
- Wholesale relationships (if appropriate based on participants): pricelists, terms and conditions
- Discounting, sample ordering and special offers: dos and dont's
Delivery Methodology
This workshop will be held remotely online via Zoom.
A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants the day before the workshop.
