The European Globalisation Adjustment Fund was established under EU Council Regulation 1927/2006 to assist workers made redundant through the negative consequents of globalisation. The Fund enables the EU to demonstrate solidarity with and provide support to eligible workers in a practical way by 60% co-funding approved programmes of labour market activation, training, education and enterprise supports. The remaining funding is provided from national sources.
Currently there are EGF programmes running in support of workers made redundant at PWA International Ltd.
If you have been identified as an EGF beneficiary and are interested in exploring relevant enterprise options please contact your local LEO Office here: https://www.localenterprise.ie/Find-Your-Local-Enterprise-Office/
