National Enterprise Awards

National Enterprise Awards Competition now open

The Local Enterprise Office, Donegal is looking for a business to represent our County at the National Enterprise Awards Finals which will take place on Friday 7th December 2018.

The Awards - organised by the National network of Local Enterprise Offices - celebrates the achievements of Ireland’s micro-enterprise sector. The awards recognise and celebrate the success stories of small business owners from all over the country.

The following awards will be announced and presented at the County Donegal Final of the competition, to be held at a lunch on Friday 7th December 2018. 

  • Best Start Up Business Award (under 18 months in Business)
  • Best Established Business Award (over 18 months in Business)
  • Donegal Business of the Year
  • National Finalist *

The National Winner will go forward to represent County Donegal at the National Finals, the winners of which will be announced in May 2019.

All applicant businesses must have less than 50 employees and businesses must have been in receipt of direct LEO supports under one or more of the following interventions:

  1. Grant aid
  2. Mentoring Programme
  3. Trading Online Voucher Scheme
  4. Participation on LEO Training Programmes
  5. MicroFinance Ireland Scheme
  • If you wish to enter, please check the Eligibility Criteria and if you meet the criteria, you must submit the following:
  1. Hard copy of NEA Application Form and
  2. A Business Plan, together with the most recent set of financial statements.
