Application Process

For Feasibility, Priming and Business Development Grants

The Process: 

  1. Please read the eligibility criteria 

  2. Complete Business Proposition Form and return This will be reviewed and one of our Business Advisors will contact you.
    ***You must meet with a business advisor before you make an application for grant financial assistance.

  3. Following discussion with our Business Advisor and if your business is deemed eligible for application for grant financial assistance, you will then submit a formal application, see notes below

  4. Your formal application for grant financial assistance will be reviewed internally and if deemed ready will progress to our independent Evaluation & Approvals Committee (EVAC) for review and a decision will be made

  5. If approved, a letter of offer/contract is issued

  6. If the grant is accepted, you will then be invited to attend our draw down briefing session for further information on drawing down your approved grant.

What to note when submitting your application:

  • Applications must be typed

  • Applications must be signed

  • You must send both a soft copy (emailed to

  • We need to receive ALL of the required information on the relevant check-list (see the application form)

CVs of promoters

3 written quotes for each item over €5,000 net

1 written quote for each item up to €5,000

Financials - for Priming & Business Expansion Grant, recent certified audited accounts, management accounts withing 3 months of application, 3 years projections

  • For Priming and Business expansion grants you must be creating at least 1 new full-time paid job and have paying customers

  • Up to date Tax Clearance Certificate(TCC) (To apply for the cert please click here). Your company/personal TCC must be in date in order for payment to be made.

  • If you require support with costs for trade shows outside of Ireland please complete a separate Export Assistance Application and submit it along side your Priming or Business expansion grant
