Dublin - European Social Economy Regions 2018 Pilot Project

Dublin City Councils is participating in the European Social Economy Regions – 2018 Pilot Project. This is a European Commission project which seeks: ‘to build networks of Social Economy and Social Innovation stakeholders and to raise awareness about the Social Economy at regional and local level’.

Dublin City Council - Economic Development Office submitted a project proposal and were approved to take part. As part of Dublin’s / Dublin City Councils involvement – an event series is being organised in partnership with various stakeholders. The event series and pilot project aims to bring together regional and local stakeholders, social enterprises, innovators and policy-makers in order to promote added value and benefits of the Social Economy in the Dublin region and to support social enterprise development.

At each event of the series, there will be representatives from various local and regional support organisations in attendance so that attendees have relevant and local contacts / organisations to follow up with to develop their social enterprises.
