Overview
Our November event will feature a talk by one of Ireland's leading women in business, Annie Gribbin of Makeup Forever, who has successfully built up the Makeup Forever business in Ireland as well as operating as a well respected Makeup Artist and expert internationally. She is a great speaker and has a fascinating story to tell - see below for a brief bio.
We will be announcing details of our Annual Awards at the November event and I am delighted that two of our previous winners, Pamela Fitzmaurice of Blazing Salads and Marsha Abrahams of Boost Beauty Solutions will talk about their successful businesses and what winning the Award meant to them.
The talk will be followed by networking over wine and finger food.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Annie Gribbin, Makeup Forever
Annie Gribbin is a single mother , make up artist and a business entrepreneur ( Image, ISMA, Irish Permanent awards). She is recognised as a pioneer in the make up industry in Ireland and was listed in The Who's who of Ireland top 1000 influencers. She was the first distributor in the world to take the cult brand Make Up For Ever to Ireland 28 years ago and opened a professional bespoke makeup store doing makeovers and lessons for the general public and introducing them to high quality professional makeup products. The business also services the professional industry by working on fashion shoots and editorial music videos, film press junkets and celebrities. She is also the Creative director of the Makeup Forever pro artistry make up school giving make up enthusiasts a stepping stone into the professional industry. Despite the huge challenges through two recessions, her determination and spirit to keep going teamed with her down to earth approach to life and work and willingness to help people makes her one of the most well respected personalities in the industry. From modest beginnings in banking and struggling with chronic bank pain to making up some of the world's A List celebrities in film and music her story is inspiring and courageous. She is willing to share her highs and lows about her business in an honest and frank talk.

Pamela Fitzmaurice, Blazing Salads
In 2000 Pamela opened Blazing Salads Food Co on Drury Street, specialising in organic, vegan, vegetarian high quality foods. She was director for 7 years of The Artizan Bread Co which won Gold and Silver in the Great Taste Awards and Gold in the Blas na hEireann Awards. Her deli holds Best in Ireland Awards for the past 14 years. Having years of experience in the food industry her company is known to be a front runner in vegan, vegetarian food in Ireland with their first cookbook published in 2004 and the second in 2013. In 2005 she won the female Entrepreneur Award with the Dublin Enterprise Board. Marsha Abrahams
Marsha is the Managing Director of Boost Beauty Solutions and was the winner of Dublin City LEO Female Entrepreneur Award in 2016. Boost Beauty Solutions is a distributor of professional Beauty & Skincare Products , the sole Irish Distributor of Juliette Armand Skincare and provides Business Services to help boost Beauty Salons, Spas & Skincare Centres in Ireland. The Juliette Armand Skincare range is based on innovative ingredients and technology that offers targeted skin solutions for all skin types and can treat a wide variety of skin problems and concerns. Boost Beauty Solutions Ltd also provides training including how to use the products plus the right way to maximise retail sales. As a qualified accountant in the Beauty Industry, Marsha can also offer advice on profitability, cash flow and cash management.
