Nicola will speak about her experience of building Harvest, focusing on lessons learnt and tips for success in the areas of:

Networking:

  • Defining what is professional networking and identifying opportunities to network
  • Getting started
  • Developing a game plan, what does it need to be? What is it? Keeping it alive!


Mentoring:

  • Components for success
  • Getting the best from the relationship

 
Personal development:

  • What it is, in the context of building a business?
  • How to fit it in?


The talk will be followed by networking over tea and coffee.

Speaker Overview:
Nicola O' Neill is the Managing Director and a principal of Harvest Resources Ltd, Ireland’s leading people development specialists. She has been involved in the development of people and organisations for the past 22 years and been a principal of Harvest since completing a MBO 10 years ago
Her work in Harvest today involves business development, client relationship management, consultancy assignments with senior teams and continuously working to evolve and reinvent Harvest.
She is active networker in a number of Institutes and Councils, such as the Irish
Women’s Lawyers Association (IWLA), Going for Growth a community for Women entrepreneurs; Nicola is currently the President of the Institute of the Irish Institute of Training and Development (IITD) and has served on Council since 2009. Nicola regularly platforms and has presented for the IITD, the Sales Institute, Business Plus Magazine, Going for Growth and various women’s networks

Nicola holds a Masters in Education (MEd.) and a Diploma in Coaching; she is also a member of the Association for Coaching.
