A fundamental lack of belief in our own value, worth and ability to achieve consistently tempers female ambition and holds women back. – Forbes Magazine, January 2016

Self-belief is an essential attribute for entrepreneurs as they need to believe strongly in their ability to create a successful business. Research consistently shows, however, that women are often held back by the fact that they are less confident than men, leading them to overestimate the risks and underestimate themselves. This can hold them back from setting up businesses or being ambitious in their businesses.

This very important topic will be the focus of the June 2016 Event of the LEO Dublin City Women in Business Network when Carol Bolger of Carthena Consulting will talk about the importance of self-belief and steps that women can take to reach their full potential. She will talk about her own personal story and how has reached a point where she reached a senior level in banking and is now on the boards of a diverse range of large organisations and approaches that she has found useful.

The talk will be followed by networking over wine and finger food.

This event is open to non-members but all must register before 12pm on Friday 17th June through this form: http://goo.gl/forms/tOn3b4CeC85wthum2
