This will be great opportunity to hear how Irish businesses led by women can achieve amazing success by identifying and responding to opportunities at home and abroad.  We will have an opportunity to hear Suzanne Jackson talk about how she has successfully built her SoSueMe blog and her SoSubySJ business.  Suzanne's talk will be followed by a discussion led by MC Susan Hayes Culleton, who has built a global business and Maria Deady of the Enterprise Europe Network.  The talks will be followed by networking over wine and finger food.

Suzanne Jackson, SOSUbySJ and SoSueMe blog – Keynote Speaker

Suzanne is currently listed on the official SERMO Index, for the third year running, as the number one Irish influencer in the world. She is also the only Irish influencer in the top 16 most influential bloggers globally. The SoSueMe Facebook page alone has over 300,000 followers and a weekly reach of over 5+ million. Sue’s Instagram account has over 280,000 followers and hits on average over 20 million impressions per week. Her business Instagram pages for SOSUbySJ and Dripping Gold Tan have 290,000 followers and 118,000 followers respectively. 

Following on from her success in blogging, Suzanne was inspired to create the beauty brand, SOSU by Suzanne Jackson. The brand features a wide range of game changing beauty products all of which were created from scratch. A number of products created by Suzanne (such as her Complete Contour Palette, Wonder Water Face Tan, etc) sold out within minutes, and as a result of this success, her brands are now being stocked by major retailers such as Primark (Ireland, Northern Ireland and in the UK), as well as online global fashion heavyweights, Beauty Bay, Pretty Little Thing, Boohoo.com, and falseeyelashes.com. It is also stocked in over 15 countries worldwide. SOSUbySJ have collaborated with many celebrity names including Love Island's Dani Dyer, Olivia Atwood and Laura Anderson.  As well as being involved in blogging and business, Suzanne is also currently co-hosting a fashion TV show on RTE with fellow Instagrammer Eileen Style Queen. Suzanne's story to date is one of perseverance, determination and a lot of hard work. 

Susan HayesCulleton,CFA, “The Positive Economist” – MC and Speaker

Susan is Managing Director of the Hayes Culleton Group, with clients across Europe and the USA. The businesses include BECKSearch which unlocks, diffuses and records strategic tacit knowledge within networks and #SavvyTeenAcademy which manages the entire experience of teenage work experiences in corporate organisations.. The company also provides training, speaking and content development services, in the subject areas of the financial markets, economics and entrepreneurship. Susan has twice co-authored “Positive Economics”, the market-leading Leaving Cert economics textbook in Ireland, and she is the author of two books published by Penguin, The “Savvy Woman’s Guide to Financial Freedom” and “The Savvy Guide to Making More Money”. Susan is co-founder of The Positive Economist., co-founder of Savvy Women Online, and serves on the boards of the Irish International Business Network and the Ireland Hong Kong Business Forum. Susan holds a Chartered Financial Analyst charter, MSc Executive Leadership, BSc Financial Maths and Economics and a Diploma in Taxation

 

Maria Deady, Enterprise Europe Network, Dublin Chamber of Commerce - Speaker

Maria joined Dublin Chamber’s International Department in October 2018. Her role involves working on a range of projects including the Enterprise Europe Network and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs to help businesses to maximise their success in overseas markets. Maria graduated from UCC in 2010 with a degree in Chinese Studies. Prior to joining Dublin Chamber Maria spent a number of years living and working in Shanghai, China.
