TALK 1: Winning It, Not Winging It: Developing A Video Strategy That Works
Video is playing a more central role in digital marketing. In this session Niamh Guckian of Go Motion will look at:
- Matching your video content to your marketing objectives
- Identifying your audience
- Working the right platforms
- Crafting the right content - the types of video for different stages of the marketing funnel
TALK 2: Small Talk for Big Gains
Melissa Curley of Social Bee will talk about why networking should be a key marketing strategy for anyone looking to develop and grow their business:
- The power of networking is in making genuine connections - redefining our assumptions
- The art of networking is the art of conversation
- What networking isn't, and what it really is

SPEAKER PROFILES
Niamh Guckian, Go Motion Academy www.gomotionacademy.com
Niamh Guckian is a highly-experienced television producer director, formerly with RTÉ and The Irish Times. Additionally, as a BBC-qualified trainer, she has been training content makers in video for social media for several years. Her company Go Motion Academy is founded on three key tenets: broadcast standards in production, commercial outcomes from video strategy, and mentoring with accessible creator tools. Her courses respond to the challenges faced by businesses in matching their social video content to challenging marketing objectives.
Melissa Curley, Social Bee
Melissa Curley is the founder of SocialBee, an innovative events and communications company that designs, creates and delivers creatively themed events and workshops where conversation, connection and collaboration are the core focus and outcome. Before SocialBee, Melissa was a dedicated secondary school teacher and avid world traveller. She moved to Dublin in 2012 to complete a Postgrad in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, thus beginning her own entrepreneurial journey and has delivered presentations and workshops on social connection, relationship building, and the value of your social capital in today’s hyper connected world. These topics sit nicely with SocialBee values and inform our event thinking and planning.
