Our July event is a special event to bring together our members in one of Dublin’s most beautiful venues for a summer social evening. Our Guest speaker is the well renowned speaker and author Orlaith Carmody To become a resilient, inspiring and confident performing leader, you need to develop an attitude, acquire some skills and make a few good choices. It really is that easy! In this talk, Orlaith will open your eyes to front line performance, and show you how you can communicate more powerfully to become the leader you want to be.
The talk will be followed by a barbecue, wine and informal networking. Please book your place by emailing me at leodcwomeninbusiness@gmail.com before Monday 2nd July at 18.00. Members will be prioritised for places at this special event but a handful of places will be available for Guests.
Speaker Profile:
As a well-known communications expert in Ireland and overseas, Orlaith’s day job is working with leaders in the world’s top companies delivering executive training programmes, and preparing leadership teams for frontline communications. As a keynote speaker she has addressed Ireland’s most influential business people, networks and political groups, and has also presented at conferences in the USA, UAE, Canada and throughout Europe. She is the author of the recent best-selling book, Perform As a Leader.
Following a career as a broadcast journalist with RTÉ, Orlaith became a serial entrepreneur, and is the Managing Director of Gavin Duffy & Associates, which specializes in communications training and leadership development. Orlaith served on the board of RTÉ from 2010 to 2015 and is a founder member of the Irish Chapter of EO, the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation, and was President in 2014/2015.
