“The key to successful leadership today is influence not authority.”
Kenneth Blanchard

Objectives of This Session:
The ability to influence and persuade others to take action is a key skill for entrepreneurs.  As Dan Pink tells us, “Almost everything you do involves persuasion.” Influence and persuasion is something we can all improve upon, utilising ‘softer skills’ like listening, ‘mirroring and matching,’ positive body language, asking open questions and simply, by being more human!

Whether you directly sell products, are involved in a team, want to create better rapport with your customers, you are in effect, selling, or more specifically, ‘moving others’ to do something.  By working consciously to develop your communication and influencing skills in your business, you can achieve more effective and successful results.

This session will help you develop a keen awareness of your influencing and negotiating style. We will explore the six key principles in which you can use to increase your style adaptability and maximise your influencing and persuasion skills with your customers and stakeholders.

We will cover 4 areas:

  1. Gain insight into the four key aspects of communication      that impact your customers and clients.
  2. Explore the 6 scientific principles of persuasion      when dealing directly with your clients and customers
  3. Learn how to adapt your style to influence and      persuade your stakeholders more effectively
  4. Identify and overcoming key objections and deal with resistance
By the end of this session, you will:
  • Have a better understanding about how to influence and persuade more effectively
  • Be able to practise the six proven ways to persuade your customers and encourage them to engage and take action
The talks will be followed by networking over wineThis event is open to non-members but all must register before 6pm on Monday 13th May through this form: https://goo.gl/forms/bV338K8SsfyHST8A3 .
