The Start Your Own Business course has been developed for those who are thinking of starting a small business or those who have a business that is running less than 2 years.
It is delivered over 5 weeks as two engaging and interactive workshops per week.

- Self-assessment / Generating and Refining Your Idea
- Marketing for the Small Business
- Finance 1 (Book Keeping and VAT)
- Legal Issues for Start Ups
- Finance 2 (Cash Flow and Pricing)
- Market Research using Online and Offline Tools Technology for Start-ups
- Sales and Negotiation
- Finance 3 (Taxation and Funding Sources)
- Preparing a Business Plan
The course aims to build your professional confidence, to network you with peers and to signpost you to sources of further support.
