MAILO POWER, Monkey Reuseable Products

Mailo graduated from the Waterford Institute of Technology in 2004 with a National Diploma in Art & Technology. Then in 2005 graduated with a B.A.(Hons.) Degree in Art and Society and was recipient of A.I.B. Student of the Year for Humanities that year.Mailo Power 220x140.jpg

In 2007 she graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with an M.A. in Fine Art.

Mailo is Managing Director of Monkey Reusable Products Ltd., and a Board Member of Garter Lane Arts Centre. In addition Mailo is a practising artist and has extensive experience in the Culture & Tourism sector representing the Industry both at home and abroad. Together with her husband Stan Power, Mailo jointly owned and managed the Athenaeum House Hotel, Waterford from 2003 to October 2018.

Mailo is a founding member of Winterval and served as Chairperson of the Winterval Hospitality Committee from 2012 - 2017. With visitor numbers reaching up to half a million annually during the festival, Winterval worked to bring much needed business to Waterford.
