Facebook for Business – Beginners Workshop

Did you know it is estimated that 60% of all Irish adults have a Facebook Account? Are you missing out on business opportunities by not using Facebook effectively for your business?

Programme Outline

This workshop will teach you how to get your company communicating effectively on Facebook, the world's largest social network.

On completion of this workshop, you will have the skills necessary to:

  • Understand why your business should be active on Facebook
  • Create a Facebook page for your business which will become part of your brand
  • Administer your business page with multiple users
  • Use Facebook effectively as a brand building and marketing tool
  • Protect your brand on Facebook
  • Connect with potential customers on Facebook and develop your page following
  • Develop content relevant to your company
  • Utilise Facebook events effectively
  • Set up your own business blog
  • Understand patterns of Facebook fan usage to maximise its potential
Learning Approach

This session will be highly participative and relevant through interactive learning, case studies, individual approach, use of hand-outs and audio-visual materials. Delivery style will include the use of trainer presentations, live demos, group and individual work, discussions and question and answer sessions.

What do I need to bring?

Course materials will be provided. Please bring along your own laptop in order to participate in the practical exercises in this workshop. 

Morning break, lunch and refreshments will also be provided.
