Tourism is one of the world’s largest industries and is recognised as one of the fastest growing business sectors globally. Tourism in Ireland is equally dynamic and this creates unique and exciting opportunities for entrepreneurs.

This event will open with Coilín O’Reilly of (Fingal County Council/Failte Ireland) delivering an overview of tourism in Dublin and Fingal, outlining the actions being taken to drive visitor numbers. Listen to Ziene Mottiar and Kevin Griffin from DIT Centre for Tourism Research talking about the key factors in developing a successful tourism business. Finally, David Basset, will tell the story of developing their teambuilding.ie tourism business in Fingal, sharing valuable lessons learned along the way.

This event is aimed at SMEs and entrepreneurs who are looking at developing a tourism business in the Fingal area.
