Initiative to support start-up firms across Galway to be extended following huge interest

There’s been a particularly strong interest across Galway in a new national programme, being delivered locally, which helps to support the establishment of start-up firms.

The LEO Start Campaign is a national initiative being delivered at Local Enterprise Office Galway – and in recent weeks, it’s experienced one of the highest levels of interest in the country.

Following this significant swell of interest, the national initiative is now being extended at LEO Galway until November 17th.

The level of inquiries from those seeking support in establishing their own ‘start-up’ enterprises across Galway is just behind the figures for Dublin and Cork.

Some of the most popular fields include Software & Internet, Food & Agritech, Healthcare/Medtech & Lifesciences and Sports & Leisure.

There’s also been strong expressions of interest in establishing start-ups in sectors including Digital Technologies, Creative & Gaming, and Traded Services.

The Start Campaign is primarily aimed at helping aspiring entrepreneurs to make their business vision a reality – but LEO Galway has a full catalogue of supports available to suit all enterprises.

Whether you’ve got an idea in mind, are nurturing a fledging business or leading an established enterprise, LEO Galway has the tools to help your vision expand and thrive.

The first step is simple – register your interest in the campaign by visiting www.startupnow.ie
