Programme offering financial support to businesses to recruit top graduate talent now available through LEO Galway

A ‘game-changing’ programme offering financial support to allow businesses to hire top graduate talent is now available through Local Enterprise Office Galway.

GradStart is an initiative from Enterprise Ireland which aims to equip Irish companies with the tools needed to effectively compete for high level graduates - and expand skill bases, drive growth and access new markets.

Generous financial support will help to ensure the effective recruitment and retention of top talent across all sectors through online platform GradHub.

The programme offers up to €30 thousand per graduate across a wide range of disciplines - and up to €42 thousand for roles which have clear language requirements.

The 24-month placement programme will allow client companies to hire up to three Irish or international graduates at any one time.

Graduates will work on a tailored project as part of an overall growth plan, which will introduce new skill and knowledge bases to the company, drive growth potential and support access to new markets.

In turn, graduates will have access to a wide range of placement opportunities in growth-orientated Irish companies and cultivate invaluable experience through the delivery of a practical project over a minimum of 2 years.

The new programme recognises that client companies of Enterprise Ireland are the backbone of the Irish economy and crucial to strong, sustainable economic growth.

LEO or HPSU clients will have access to funding to support one graduate, while SME’s and larger companies are supported in hiring up to three graduates on a rolling basis.
