We want your business to be part of our new

Kildare E-Commerce Website

Onboarding for Free of charge E-Commerce Platform Developed to bring Kildare Businesses Online

Take your business online in 30 minutes or increase your business exposure.

Kildare County Council in association with the Kildare Chamber of Commerce are launching ‘Shop County Kildare’, an online ecommerce platform providing Kildare businesses the opportunity to make the move to online sales in a free of charge, quick and user-friendly way. Kildare County Council now is calling on Kildare businesses to register for the website before Friday June 20th. The website will go live for consumers in July.

Kildare County Council’s mission is to create hubs for local retailers and businesses to reopen their businesses to the local community. This Kildare hub will curate products and services by town and village.

Whether a business has a website or not, working together with technology partners COVA Technology, this platform can get businesses back up and running, selling products and services within minutes and free of charge. Business can also sell their vouchers.

This opportunity is also of benefit to businesses who have already a functioning ecommerce website already, as the category function on website allows their products and the businesses itself even greater exposure.

Currently, the focus is on onboarding the retailers and businesses. Please follow this link to register your business on the website today Click here >>

Jacqui McNabb, Head of Enterprise Kildare County Council said “We would love the opportunity to support businesses in delivering their product or service online over the coming 12 months. The focus now is onboarding retailers and businesses and we hope to get this done as quickly as possible so that we can launch the site and kick-start business in Kildare now”.

There is no set up charge or monthly fees to retailers or businesses. There is however a standard ecommerce administration fee of 5% on all sales to cover the cost of card payments (3%) as well as all hosting, admin and operational costs.

How to register:

Businesses can populate the site with as many products as they wish through the user-friendly backend of the website. COVA Technology automate all the processes on behalf of the businesses and consumers and there will be a COVA Technology rep on hand to support businesses with any queries in getting set up.

If you would like a presence on the website and an opportunity to market your product and services, please follow this link to register https://shopcountykildare.ie/

For any queries please email info@shopcountykildare.ie
