Better Together brings together and supports service businesses in Kildare to connect and collaborate in a safe controlled space, to share challenges, solutions, and support to each other.

Collaborating can take many forms; networking, research, sharing technical knowledge and going after new business together in markets that would be outside the capability or scope of a business working alone. Moreover, what many business owners gain from Better Together Mastermind groups is the peer support network of fellow business owners, sharing challenges, solutions, in a safe and confidential space.

Better Together members raise the bar by challenging each other to create and implement goals, brainstorm ideas, and support each other with honesty & respect and compassion. 

What is a Mastermind Group?

A Mastermind group is are like your own peer advisory board, the agenda is set by the members and participation is key. Give and receive feedback, solve problems, share expertise and knowledge, and create a framework of support to help you grow your business.

Delivery

• Meetups take place online every 2 weeks for 1 hour
• Meetings are a closed group, meaning you will be meeting with the same people in each session.
• During the 1st session a group contract will be created agreeing a “Ways of Working”, inc. agreed behaviour, meeting times and dates
• The initial topic for discussion is ‘key challenges’, this will generate topics for any future themes for discussion.
• Each session will provide a safe & confidential platform for members to share & learn and the members will benefit greatly from the group knowledge and peer working group.
• Group sizes rage from 6-10 business owners
•  All information discussed will be treated as confidential by the facilitator and participants.
• Tap in to the experience of the facilitator who will also act as a conduit to the Local Enterprise Office to deliver business supports.

Facilitating Better Together Kildare is Stuart Nelson, an award-winning Lean Mentor, Business Coach, and Director of Jigsaw VAE Ltd.

Stuart has extensive experience in consulting, training, retail, and operations management. With Black Belts in Lean & Six Sigma and 3rd level qualifications in Psychology, Innovation, and Coaching, he has a unique skillset and is well placed to guide the person and the process through change. Jigsaw VAE are Irelands leading provider of lean training and mentoring to the Micro and Small business sector.
