Cashflow Management - Leading your Business through Covid-19

This programme is designed to support small businesses with financial decision making in a crisis. It will help them to get greater clarity of their immediate financial situation and to build a cashflow and action plan to guide them over the next 3 months.

It will provide them with the tools they need to produce a cashflow statement which they can use to understand and guide the business, seek funding or take to mentors/ advisors for further advice and support.

Course Delivery

This course is delivered over two 3-hour live small group online sessions. There will be a practical assignment after the first session.

Workshop 1 Cashflow Forecasting in a Crisis

• Assessing your current financial situation
• Risks & Opportunities
• 3 month cashflow plan
• Assessing different options quickly
• Existing and new COVID19 specific sources of financial support to SMEs

Assignment:

A. Draft a cash flow for the next 3 months

B. Create another version/s to test the impact of scenarios

Workshop 2 Cashflow Review

• What are the numbers telling us?
• Making decisions based on the numbers: short term and long term
• Creating your next steps: finance action planning
