Facebook Marketing for Beginners (Part 1)



This module is designed for businesses starting out on Facebook and want to build a strong loyal network with existing and potential customers. The training will provide each participant with the know-how to plan and manage communications and marketing through the influential social networks - Facebook.   It will provide each participant with techniques and tools to understand and harness the opportunities provided by best practice social media marketing and online PR.   It will help participants to fully understand how to leverage their presence on Social Media platforms to generate connections, build relationships with customers and boost profits.

 

Our Specialist Trainer will share a range of case studies of businesses that are successfully using Facebook effectively to build and develop their businesses. The workshop will provide participants with detailed and practical knowledge to fully develop expertise in this area.

 

Programme Objectives:

On completion of this workshop, participants will have

  •     Practical Understanding of Social Media and on-line branding in a small business context.
  •     Understand the business benefits of Facebook
  •     An understanding of how to create and monitor marketing activities and access new customers and markets through Facebook activity.

  •     Running competitions to grow your Likes – Facebook promotions and most popular applications for running competitions
  •     How to use Facebook to project your brand
  •     Managing social media activity and accessing reports to demonstrate effectiveness


 

Twitter Marketing – Beginners (Part 2)


 

This module is designed for businesses starting out on Twitter and want to build a strong loyal network with existing and potential customers. The training will provide each participant with the know-how to plan and manage communications and marketing through the influential social networks - Twitter.   It will provide each participant with techniques and tools to understand and harness the opportunities provided by best practice social media marketing and online PR.

With Twitter you can choose to follow people who share similar interests or whose Tweets you find interesting. It is shorter and faster moving than Facebook.

 

Our Specialist Trainer will share a range of case studies of businesses that are successfully using Twitter effectively to build and develop their businesses. The workshop will provide participants with detailed and practical knowledge to fully develop expertise in this area.

 

Programme Objectives:



On completion of this module, participants will have

  •     Understand the business benefits and potential using Twitter and monitoring progress through analytics and feedback
  •     Practical Understanding of Social Media and on-line branding in a small business context
  •     An understanding of how to create and monitor marketing activities and access new customers and markets through Twitter activity
  •     Will have created a tailored marketing campaign on their Twitter platform


 

Workshop Content to include:

  •     Twitter – Getting started and the basics
  •     Twitter quick chat and connections with potential clients
  •     Exploring the range of option for tweets, direct messaging, tagging and re-tweeting.
  •     How to avail of the latest addition to Twitter- Twitter Moments
  •     Building a Twitter following with regular growth
  •     Developing Twitter add campaigns, target audience and budgeting
  •     Video streaming using Audience Manager
  •     Hootsuite – Scheduling and publishing content
  •     How to engage with influencers and advocates


 

Learning Approach

Highly interactive and hands-on where all participants will design a realistic and thorough marketing campaign through their company’s Twitter page and put what new skills have been learned into practice with the guidance of our tutor.
