The Mid-East Local Enterprise Offices of Kildare, Wicklow and Meath are delighted to invite you to the first gathering of the Mid-East Tech Cluster to celebrate the diverse and vibrant culture of our tech sector.

The first gathering of the Mid-East Tech Cluster will be hosted by MERITS - Mid-Eastern Regional Innovation Think Space.

We are delighted to welcome anyone active in the region's tech sector. You may be part of a tech start-up, an employee in a tech multi-national, an established business owner or someone with a business idea. This is your opportunity to learn, network and join in the ambition of our region.

Keynote Speaker

Brendan Noud, Founder & CEO @ LearnUpon is joining us to discuss his journey in scaling a tech company from working from home on his own in 2012, to securing €47.4 million investment and employing 200+ people across 4 offices globally.

With over 1,300 customers across the globe, LearnUpon is one of the fastest growing cloud-based learning management systems in the world. Brendan has 18 years experience in the eLearning industry. During that time, he has worked on some of the largest and most complex LMS implementations in the world.

Brendan has appeared as a guest speaker at eLearning conferences in the US and the UK and has also written a number of published white papers and reports on the latest trends in the industry. Prior to co-founding LearnUpon, Brendan previously worked with WBT Systems and KPMG Consulting.

Expert Advisory Panel

Private, 1-1 business mentor consultancy meetings can also be scheduled prior to the event in areas of IP, funding growth or innovation in tech, tax and structuring for investment, HR, marketing and scaling e-commerce.

These 30 minute advisory meetings will be hosted on the 1st Floor in MERITS and can be booked in advance here.
