Craic’d Letting the Light In

Lifelinkk’s third annual Wellness in the Workplace seminar takes place on October 10th as part of Craic’d – Letting the Light In, a week long festival of positive mental health events across County Kilkenny.

Lorcan Brennan the coordinator of The National Men’s Health Programme will deliver a talk entitled ‘Living Well, Staying Well'.  It will focus on why we can struggle to support ourselves for positive mental health. It will highlight how social, cultural and gendered messages can influence our lives and have implications for living well in the world.  It will highlight both the signs and symptoms of stress and ways of reducing stress and bring us into connection, purpose and meaning for sustaining health and wellbeing.

Also on the night Claire Howlin from KCASES will talk about an Occupational Recovery Plan for employees and employers to have a conversation around longterm illnesses and establishing the facts and expectations for both parties.

The seminar takes place at 5.30pm in The Pembroke Hotel on Patrick Street where refreshments will be served on arrival.

It is a FREE event but please book by email at lifelinkkilkenny@gmail.com.  Further information on Craic’d – Letting the Light In can be found at www.craicd.com
