This workshop will walk the participants through the step by step process on how to create, implement and analyse an effective digital strategy for businesses getting started with digital marketing.

Course Content

  • Introduction to digital marketing and how it has and is evolving for Micro-businesses and SMEs • Strategy development and looking at the key stages – examples of integrated marketing plans/campaigns (template provided)
  • A structured approach to a creating and implementing a successful digital marketing strategy – RACE Framework and SOSTAC ®
  • Customer persona creation
  • Review existing position in the market place
  • Setting objectives/ goals & targets (KPIs)
  • Analysis: tools to analyze and what the numbers say
  • Tool kit: Top tools for management and measurement

Practical elements 

  • Choosing digital channels, allocating time and budget
  • Creating customer personas
  • Defining USPs and tactics on how to ensure customers are aware of them
