How to advertise on Facebook and Instagram

Facebook offers small businesses an amazing and affordable way to get into the newsfeed of thousands of potential customer for just a few Euro.  You can create audiences based on various demographics.  (Facebook owns Instagram so your ads will target people on both Instagram and Facebook.)

This course will explain how it works and how you could use it as a low cost highly targeted tool to promote your new business

Who is this suitable for:

This course is specifically aimed at individuals/small businesses based in Kilkenny City and County who do not have access to a marketing department and who already understand how to use Facebook and are using a Facebook business page for marketing. You do not need to have an Instagram account for your business.  Please note: This course is not suitable for people who are unsure how Facebook works e.g. Beginners.

Course Content:

Step 1: Know how to target the best audience for your business.

• Basic and intermediate ways to target using the Facebook ads tool
• Advanced targeting options
• How to target visitors to your website
• How to target your customers or email list
• How to target a lookalike audience

Step 2: How to turn a Facebook post into an ad using the Ads Tool

Step 3: How do you then add more “adsets” to your campaign

• Overview of how a campaign is structured (Campaign / Adsets / Ads)
• How to duplicate an existing adset to easily create 2-3 more adsets targeting new audiences

Step 4: How do you then monitor your campaign to see how each adset is perfoming

• How to check which audience (adset) is performing the best

You will need a laptop/pc/Mac/tablet to take part in the course.
