This workshop will run on Fri 18th and Fri 25th September from 10.00am - 12.30pm 

Content:

• Workshop covers users with different devices and computers
• Instructions are sent to all participants before the workshop to prepare.
• A selection of audio equipment and props will be used for demonstration purposes.
• Each participant receives a copy of my 20 page podcasting manual, content will be worked through
• during the workshop and then used as a reference as they progress through the world of
• Podcasting.
• Post workshop email sent to participants containing website links for optional equipment / software purchases demonstrated throughout the day.

Leave the workshop with a clear understanding of:

• What are the most popular formats and genres?
• An introduction to audio
• What hardware and software do you need to get started?
• How to use this technology
• How do you find and tell audio stories?
• How do you shape an interview?
• Where to purchase cost effective equipment
• How do you release and host your podcast?
