The aim of this two day workshop is to give participants the tools to deliver a clear and concise message in a confident and relaxed manner.

This Workshop will be delivered over two days - Monday 20th and Wednesday 22nd September from 2.00pm - 4.30pm 

Objective:

The objective of this course is to help participants present confidently and communicate clearly and more effectively by  offering simple, practical tips that will help to deliver a strong presentation with confidence and conviction. 

Course Content:

  • The writing process.
  • Delivery. We work on voice, breath, pace, tone etc
  • Body language. The importance of non-verbal communication.
  • Practical ways to deal with nerves.
  • Storytelling. ( using Zoom/ camera phone) This would also cover presenting short pieces to camera for marketing purposes.

Participants will have the opportunity to write and deliver their own presentation.

Outcomes:

  • Participants should feel more confident about speaking in public. Understand the importance of authenticity, using their own voice to tell their story.
  • Realising that doing something you thought difficult is a life skill worth learning. Effective communication is not only important for business but an essential life skill.
  • The importance of breathing properly.
